The
Abergavenny Arms is a privately owned oak beamed English
Free house, with the warm and friendly atmosphere of a traditional
village pub.
We
are proud to be featured in The Good Beer Guide 2008 &
2009 as Oliver Bostwick our new Cellar Man keeps
an excellent cellar of ales.
Adrian
Dixon joined the Abergavenny in November 2009 as the new
Chef Manager & he brings with him is partner Leisa Brett
& their baby son Jude.
Diana
Horner joined the team in December & takes over as the
General Manager in January 2010
The
new Management Team will be running the Abergavenny as a
family friendly pub with a delicious mouthwatering menu
crafted by Adrian who has worked in restaurants globally.
Adrian
has had over 10 years experience working as a Chef in famous
restaurants such as Sweden's STURE HOF, Australia's JONAS,
& London's Michelin starred restaurant CHAPTER TWO
He
has catered on Private French Charter Yachts & Barges
providing clients with a fine dining 7 course daily gastronomique
menu's.
His
passion & enthusiasm for diffferent world cuisines will
be reflected on our new menu.
Come
and enjoy a meal in the delightful village setting of Rodmell,
which is nestled in the South Downs National Park 4 miles
south of Lewes on the edge of the South Downs Way.
Rodmell
was the home of Leonard & Virginia Woolfe, which featured
in the Bafta award winning film

National Trust property "Monks House" is open
to the Public on Wednesday & Saturday afternoons 2pm
to 6pm from April to the end of October.
